I got to know Steven through a mutual friend back in Nov-2019. Being a foreigner new to Singapore, Steven warmly welcomed me into his weekly hiking sessions at Bt Timah Forest Reserve. Since then, we have been religiously 'conquering' Bt Timah hill. More recently, we even extended our hike to start from MacRitchie Reservoir. I bought a simple Travel Insurance from Steven as I was going on a Everest Base Camp trek. I was totally impressed by the level of commitment and service provided. I had to be evacuated on the way down after a fall. As we had to contact AIG for approval for the medical evacuation, I messaged Steven and his response to my questions were quite immediate, giving me the necessary numbers and items claimable each time a message is sent. This no doubt helped me to get the necessary approvals quickly and I was evacuated within 24 hours.
